Statistical codes on roles and SCB's pay figures

Roles in Swedish organizations now carry an SSYK statistical code read from your payroll file, and the pay card shows SCB's pay figures for the occupation.

For organizations in Sweden, every new role now gets a statistical code: its occupation in SSYK 2012, the classification SCB (Statistics Sweden) uses for its pay statistics. The code names an occupation, never a level, and it does not affect the evaluation.

The code comes with your import

When you import people, blueprnt reads the statistical code from your payroll file (a column such as Statistikkod, SSYK or Yrkeskod) and gives each new role the code most of its people carry. Where the file has no code, the AI suggests one for you to confirm, and where it cannot tell whether a manager role manages other managers, you choose. See Statistical codes for the new roles.

A new role needs its code before it is created, and you can change the code later on the role's page. A role without a code yet shows "Missing" there until you choose one.

SCB's pay figures beside the role's own

The role's Pay statistics card now shows SCB's published pay figures for the occupation beside the role's own figures: the median and the average, and in the chart a thin line from the 10th to the 90th percentile under each gender's band, marked at the median. The figures are Medlingsinstitutet's pay structure statistics, produced by SCB, for the private sector, or for all sectors when the private sector has none.

They are a reference, not a target, and never on their own a reason for a pay difference. See Official pay statistics.
